Refunds & cancellations

Scope

These terms apply to paid advisory engagements with Harbor Line Financial Consultants — including Retirement Income Planning, Pension Consolidation Review, Investment Portfolio Review, and Inheritance Tax Conversation. They do not cover investment products, insurance policies, or third-party provider charges, which we do not sell through this website.

Refund eligibility

If you cancel before we begin substantive work (document review or analysis after the engagement letter), you may request a full refund of fees paid for that engagement, less any non-refundable deposit stated in the letter.

Timeframe to request

Refund requests should be sent in writing within 14 days of cancellation or of the event giving rise to the request. Contact hello@workflow-analyticscloud.digital or telephone +44-8-687-2504.

Full or partial refunds

• Full refund — cancellation before substantive work begins, subject to any deposit clause in the engagement letter.
• Partial refund — if analysis has started but the recommendation letter has not been delivered, we may refund a proportion reflecting unfinished stages, typically between 25% and 60% of the engagement fee depending on progress.
• No refund of completed stages — once the recommendation letter has been delivered, fees for completed work are not refundable.

Non-refundable items

Third-party charges you incur directly (for example, scheme transfer fees or solicitor costs) are outside our refunds. Time already spent on fact-find meetings that you attended is generally non-refundable when cancellation occurs afterward.

Deposits

Some longer engagements request a deposit on signing. Deposits are credited to the final fee. If you cancel after we have reserved meeting time and begun document intake, the deposit may be retained to cover preparation already performed, as set out in your letter.

Cancellation & rescheduling

You may cancel by email. Meetings may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Later changes or repeated rescheduling may incur a modest administrative fee disclosed before confirmation.

No-shows

If you miss a scheduled meeting without notice, we may charge for that meeting slot or deduct it from any later refund calculation.

Work already started

Once we have opened your file, reviewed statements, or begun modelling, fees reflect that progress. We will explain the stage reached when discussing any partial refund.

Purchased materials

We do not sell physical goods. Any printed copies of your recommendation letter supplied as part of the engagement are included in the fee and are not separately refundable.

Refund process & timing

Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method where possible, within 14 working days of approval. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your bank.

Exceptions

Statutory cooling-off rights that apply to distance contracts for consumers in the UK remain available where they apply to your engagement. Nothing here limits those rights.
